The famous Rockyview General Hospital located to its north and The Heritage Park Historical Village bordering Eagle Ridge to it’s west, is particularly popular and yet is just one of a number of nearby attractions that draw people to the area. Other outdoor attractions include Glenmore Park, which offers a number of sporting opportunities such as canoeing, while the Eagle Ridge Community Centre is host to a number of sports and activities. Special mention must go to the community centre’s ice rinks, which are covered during the summer months to become a skate park.

The Earl Grey Golf Club and the Calgary Golf & Country Club are also close by for those who love to play. Chinook Centre is just a short drive away from Eagle Ridge and is one of the Calgary’s most popular retail destinations with stores like Chapters, The Gap & Nordstrom.
