The Calgary Marlborough Community Association provide a full range of activities, events and programs for residents. Their main hall is available for rental, it seats up to 400 and is suitable for wedding receptions, Christmas parties and other gatherings. It is also suitable for volleyball, indoor soccer and other small sporting events.  There's also an upper hall, lounge and activities room available. Village Square Leisure Center is just north of the community and offers two skating arenas, a wave pool with slides, rooms for fitness and dancing and a jungle gym.

Marlborough Mall, on 36th Street SE, is the major shopping hub in Marlborough Park.  You'll find big box names like Walmart, Safeway and Home Depot stores as well as other shops, services and restaurants.. Just north is Pacific Place with more major brands like Canadian Tire and T&T Supermarket.  Real Canadian Superstore and Sunridge mall are just north of Highway 1, giving residents a full range of shopping options within minutes of home.

Marlborough Park has several public schools in the community including Cappy Smart Elementary School and Roland Michener Elementary, Dr. Gladys McKelvie Egbert Junior High School and St. Martha Elementary and Junior High School is a popular Catholic school the southern edge of Big Marlborough Park.
