Parkhill

A popular city centre neighbourhood overlooking Stanley Park, after which it is named.

Parkhill has a rich history, a lovely setting and a prime location close to 4th Street, trendy restaurants, boutiques and coffee shops.

Parkhill have access to some of the best recreation areas the City of Calgary has to offer. The community borders the Elbow River and Stanley Park and is located close to both Sandy Beach Park and River Park, known for their off-leash dog walking, picnic sites and lazy hot summer days enjoying the Elbow River. Parkhill is also a stones throw to Repsol Centre, a year-round recreation facility offering swimming & diving, running tracks, fitness facilities and a host of other exercise opportunities.  Located within the community is one of Calgary’s most popular outdoor swimming pools, the Stanley Park Outdoor Pool.

Parkhill has an active community association and put on a number of events throughout the year.  You can view details of these events and all the services provided by the Parkhill Community Association here. It is also home to Stanely Park, located next to the Elbow River. The community park features tennis courts, outdoor swimming pool, a playground as well as baseball diamonds.
