Riverbend

Riverbend is not just a clever name for this residential region. The area is settled on a large bend on Bow River that wraps around the community.

 

The community of Riverbend is rich with pathways, parks and easy access to Calgary's largest, fenced off-leash dog playground, Sue Higgens Park.

Carburn Park is a large green area that encompasses the land around the water to the west of Riverbend and Sue Higgins Park is directly across the river. These two parks are connected by a pedestrian bridge that continues the pedestrian pathways that runs across the water through Riverbend.

It is conveniently located next to major thoroughways like Glenmore Trail to the north and 18th Street SE, which runs through the neighbourhood.

Major big-box stores are minutes away in Deerfoot Meadows including Costco, IKEA and Walmart.
