Bridlewood’s prime location on the Southwest corner of the Calgary city limits puts it at the doorstep of the world-renowned Spruce Meadows Equestrian Centre. 

Located at the very edge of the city limits in South Calgary, Bridlewood is settled next to the local wetlands off of Spruce Meadows Trail.

Surrounding areas include Evergreen to the north, Somerset to the east and Spruce Meadows Equestrian Centre to the south. The South Fish Creek Centre is only minutes away in the Shawnessy Towne Centre where residents can enjoy the public library, walking trails & the YMCA.

Bridlewood is a large community with many homes and one of the biggest benefits to living in a large residential neighbourhood is the amount of schools that will be around to educate the area’s population. Bridlewood is no exception to the rule and there are four unique schools within the community borders. Bridlewood School provides education to elementary aged students in the public system and Monsignor J.J. O’Brien is the local Catholic School with almost 1,000 students between Kindergarten and Grade 9. The massive Glenmore Christian Academy and the small Academy for Mathematics & English each provide additional education to local students and adults.

Bridlewood residents head to the Shawnessy Towne Centre for all their shopping needs. Major anchor tenants in this busy retail hub include Walmart, Co-op, Home Depot, Future Shop, Canadian Tire among many other shops and services. Closer to home, the Shoppes of Bridlewood has a Sobeys, medical clinic and various other shops as well.
