Oakridge

The community of Oakridge is located on the southwest edge of the City directly south of the Glenmore Reservoir.

With a location next to nature, Oakridge is perfectly situated close to the downtown core while still maintaining the quiet of suburban life.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby Glenmore Reservoir and Weaselhead Flats offer residents a wealth of outdoor options from hiking to sailing, canoeing and more. As well, Heritage Park is always a big hit with visitors and residents alike. The Reservoir is particularly appealing to home buyers and it is not uncommon to see families relaxing at the end of a long day with a quiet walk looking out over the peaceful, beautiful water.

The Oakridge Community Association offers a variety of sports events and recreation activities. The Southland Leisure Centre is just a short drive away and has many amenities including a wave pool, a fitness centre and a variety of racquetball and squash courts.
