The community offers paved pathways where you can enjoy walking, running, biking, or rollerblading. The parks in the community are quite large, but if you’re looking for more space (or your a dog owner), Nose Creek Regional Park in only minutes away with over 40 acres of spaces and an off leash dog park. There are nearby pickleball and tennis courts for a game with friends, as well as summer floats down the nearby Nose Creek River. 

St. Martin de Porres High School is within walking distance and has a French Immersion option. Nose Creek Elementary School, AE Bowers Elementary School, Coopers Crossing Elementary School and WH Croxford High School are all in adjacent communities and a short drive away. Muriel Clayton Middle School is just north of Nose Creek Regional Park.

Shopping options are endless for residents of Luxstone.  You can head north and find tons of local shops & services in Downtown Airdrie. Local barber shops to thrift shops on historic Main Street, along with big box shops at Tower Lane Mall.  Go south to Sierra Springs supercentre and have all the big box brand names at your disposal, including Home Depot, Winners and London Drugs.
