There is the 400-acre Confederation Park that can be found close by, with paths for cyclists and hikers as well as wooded areas where cross country skiers gather. In addition, the Confederation Park Golf Course draws in many members of Banff Trail and the surrounding communities.

The Banff Trail Community Association was established in the 1950’s, and it has always had much to offer residents of all ages.  It is one of Calgary’s most established community association, which is consistently hosting fun and exciting new events for the whole family such as Stampede breakfasts, dance events, and much more. The community is conveniently located close to the LRT and other major institutions and recreational facilities.
