The anchor and main highlight in this neighbourhood is Nose Creek Park  Airdrie’s most utilized park, offering 20 acres of everything that outdoor enthusiasts crave including an amphitheater, playground, pickleball courts, fire pit, and concession. The trails in Nose Creek Regional Park are some of the best that Airdrie has to offer, and it’s rare to see them without dog walkers, runners, or cyclists. The park has a large off-leash area, the perfect place to toss a frisbee and let the dog free to retrieve it. 

Nearby schools include AE Bowers Elementary School, R.J. Hawkley Elementary and Muriel Clayton Middle School, as well as St. Martin de Porres High School. There is also Fuzzy Pickles Preschool just on the other side of Main Street, just a short drive for working parents with young children not yet of school age.  

Ridgegate is only minutes north to downtown Airdrie. Quaint boutiques, trendy cafes, entertainment venues, and numerous restaurants are all at your fingertips. There’s also big box retailers at Townline Shopping Centre including Staples, Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart as well as Good LIfe Fitness Centre.
