The McKenzie Lake Community Association is very active, organizing events and programs that bring residents together and foster a strong community spirit. The Association provides its members with access to equipment such as rowboats, canoes, kayaks, and pedal boats. In the winter time the Association provides a variety of skating surfaces including illuminated hockey rinks, an ice skating pad with a fire pit, and a 2.5 kilometer skating path around the lake.
For lovers of the outdoors, there’s also nearby Fish Creek Provincial Park, which offers an intricate pathway network winding throughout the community. If you’re looking to gt in a round of golf, The McKenzie Meadows Golf Club offers a great 18 hole challenge.

The small town feel of “main street” cafes and boutiques is found in McKenzie Towne’s High Street.
This ever popular shopping district tends to the day-to-day essentials and offers a variety of shops, boutiques, and services, including coffee shops, a pub, grocery store and a pharmacy.
A quick drive west on 130 Avenue is the South Trail Crossing shopping centre. You’ll find big box names like Walmart, Sport Chek, Home Depot, Pet Smart and Good Life Fitness among other retailers.
