The Eastern edge of Edgemont borders Nose Hill Park, one of the largest municipal parks in Canada and North America. It is a stunning natural park where one can escape the hustle and bustle of city life to enjoy a more tranquil environment.  It is also home to one of Calgary’s largest off-leash dog parks.

The Edgemont Community Centre has much to offer with gym facilities, banquet & meeting rooms, and many activities. Edgebrook Park and John Laurie Park are located within Edgemont. Northland Mall is situated just outside of Edgemont and has a variety of popular stores including Walmart, Designer Depot and Best Buy. There are also a number of restaurants in and around the area including Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria, Shanghai Palace and Earls Kitchen & Bar for upscale continental cuisine.
