The Calgary Marlborough Community Association provide a full range of activities, events and programs for residents. Their main hall is available for rental, it seats up to 400 and is suitable for wedding receptions, Christmas parties and other gatherings. It is also suitable for volleyball, indoor soccer and other small sporting events.  There's also an upper hall, lounge and activities room available. Village Square Leisure Center is just north of the community and offers two skating arenas, a wave pool with slides, rooms for fitness and dancing and a jungle gym.

Marlborough Mall, on 36th Street SE, is the major shopping hub in the neighbourhood.  You'll find big box names like Walmart, Safeway and Home Depot stores as well as other shops, services and restaurants.. Just north is Pacific Place with more major brands like Canadian Tire and T&T Supermarket.  Real Canadian Superstore and Sunridge mall are just north of Highway 1, giving residents a full range of shopping options within minutes of home.

The public schools in the community are Marlborough Elementary, Chris Akkerman Elementary and Bob Edwards Junior High. The Catholic School St. Mark Elementary School is also in the community.
