Brentwood sits in a pocket just south of Nose Hill Park and north of the University of Calgary, with quick access to both the mountains and the city’s core.

Developed in the 1960s, the neighbourhood’s appeal goes beyond that convenient location. Like so many communities of its vintage, it has streets lined with mature trees and modest, but well-kept mid-century homes. The area is characterized by well-maintained homes, large lots, and abundant green spaces. Despite its age, Brentwood feels as vibrant now as it did 30 years ago.  Proximity to C-train stations make it convenient to access the rest of the city.

Location and Accessibility

Brentwood is located in the northwest region of Calgary. The community is bordered by:

  • North: John Laurie Blvd
  • South: Crowchild Trail
  • East: Charleswood Drive NW
  • West: Shaganappi Trail NW

Brentwood offers an ideal location with excellent access to major roadways, public transit, and amenities. Its proximity to the University of Calgary, the Brentwood LRT Station, and nearby shopping centers makes it a highly convenient and desirable community for residents.

Education and Healthcare
