Ranchlands is located in the north region of Calgary. The community is bordered by:
- North: Nose Hill Drive
- South: Sarcee Trail NW
- East: John Laurie Blvd
- West: Crowchild Trail

Education and Healthcare

Amenities
For outdoor amenities, there is the 12-acre Ranchlands Community Park, as well as the renowned Nose Hill Park with its many athletic and recreation facilities.
Here you’ll also find playgrounds, an outdoor skating rink, sports fields, and tennis courts. If you have a dog, you may want to consider Ranchlands since there is an amazing off-leash park in the area. Residents also enjoy activities sponsored by the Ranchlands Community Association.
The Crowfoot YMCA and the Crowfoot Arena are nearby and an added benefit to the Ranchlands housing market. And for those that don’t want to drive there’s a new Crowfoot C-Train Station, which offers convenient access to the University of Calgary, SAIT, and the downtown core.

There’s a small strip mall within the neighbourhoods with a good range of shops and services.
Crowfoot Crossing, one of the largest outdoor malls in Calgary, has over 240 shops and services. Within Crowfoot Crossing are many dining, shopping and entertainment options, including Home Depot, Cineplex Odeon Theatres, Calgary Coop & Safeway, Chapters Books, plus a host of boutiques and big box stores.
The Dalhousie Station Shopping Centre and Market Mall are also nearby, offering additional shopping, dining, and service options.
