The neighborhood features several parks and playgrounds, including Pineridge Park and Pineridge Community Park, which provide spaces for sports, picnics, and family gatherings.
Pineridge is home to the ever popular Village Square Leisure Centre, which has a total size of 5.5 acres and houses an aquatic park, two hockey arenas, a fitness facility, dance studio, dive tank, gymnasium, hot tub, steam room, library and jungle gym for the kids. It is one of 2 Leisure Centres operated by the City of Calgary. Shop & Dine
Pineridge is surrounded by shopping and dining options.
You’ll find Co-Op’s on the south east and west sides of the community. Just south is the TransCanada Shopping Centre with a Save-On.Â
Just a bit further south is a plethora of big box malls including Marlborough Mall & Sunridge Mall. Sunridge Mall has more than 150 stores such as Sport Check, Aldo, H&M, Old Navy and Bath and Body Works. A quick trip south on 36th Street SE brings you to another excellent shopping district with big box retailers, notably at Marlborough Mall who hosts a Walmart, a Home Depot and a Canadian Tire.Â
