Temple enjoys easy access to major roadways such as McKnight Boulevard, 52 Street NE, and 16 Avenue (Trans-Canada Highway), which provide connections to other parts of the city.

Amenities are abound in the desirable north east neighbourhood of Whitehorn.

The neighborhood is rich in green spaces, with several parks and playgrounds spread throughout the area. Whitehorn Park and Whitlow Park are popular spots for residents, offering sports fields, walking paths, and playgrounds for children.

Anchored by a very active Whitehorn Community Association who are highly engaged with residents by creating classes, craft fairs and youth dances. They also maintain a skating rink in the winter and offer tennis courts in the summer. Just south of the community is  Village Square Leisure Centre, which has a total size of 5.5 acres and houses an aquatic park, two hockey arenas, a fitness facility, dance studio, dive tank, gymnasium, hot tub, steam room, library and jungle gym for the kids.

Shop & Dine

The Castleridge Mall is on the north end of the neighbourhood with Safeway and several shops and services.

McKnight Village is just across the road with more shops & services including Shoppers Drug Mart.   The Real Canadian Superstore is located in the north west corner of the community and can be accessed within minutes. Sunridge Mall is within walking distance and features numerous big box names like Costca, Cineplex, Chapters, Best Buy and Lowes. The 36 Street shopping area, which is home to Walmart, Home Depot, IKEA and Canadian Tire, is also close by.
