Maple Ridge

Maple Ridge is a well established golf course community in South Calgary situated next to the Bow River valley.

While the community is prominent for the Maple Ridge Golf Course that covers much of the area, it is a popular residential area for the green space and waterways that are nearby.

For outdoor enthusiasts buying a home here, there are a number of amenities. Fish Creek Provincial Park is an excellent day out while there are also a number of nearby parks that offer hiking trails and walkways to follow.

It would be remiss to discuss Maple Ridge without mentioning the wonderful golf course that shares the land with Maple Ridge — making the area a golfer’s dream.

Shoppers are well looked after in Maple Ridge. The Southcentre Mall is a short walk away from most residents’ homes, while the Willow Park Shopping Plaza is just next door in neighbouring Willow Park. Additionally, the Shawnessy shopping centre and Chinook Mall are not far away and are easy to get to thanks to the major bus and LRT routes that surround Maple Ridge.

Maple Ridge is part of the Willow Ridge Community Association, which also serves the neighbouring community of Willow Park.
