Parkdale

A highly desirable inner city neighbourhood located just below the Foothills Hospital next to the Bow River

Parkdale is a well-established inner-city community located along the North bank of the Bow River.

This central location has quick access to downtown, the mountains, shopping, and the beautiful Bow River.  Homes in Parkdale consist of old war-time bungalows, townhouses and condos and newly built infills.

There are also a number of multi-million dollar new homes being built on full size 50′ lots. The streets and avenues surrounding Helicopter Park are a popular choice for new infills, especially for those with young families.

A 5-minute drive along the Trans-Canada takes you to Home Depot and North Hill Mall, where there are even more choices. If you turn west onto Shaganappi Trail North it will lead you to the famous Market Mall in Calgary. Even the Jubilee Auditorium is just a short drive away.

The Parkdale Community Association provides a skating rink, which they convert to beach volleyball courts, are available to residents of Parkdale.  The centre also has a community garden, large park and playground..
